Jutta Mestas, originally from Germany, resides in Port Charlotte, Florida. She has worked all over the world in different hair salons. Having the desire to learn new and better techniques for cutting and styling hair, Jutta found an academy in Sevierville, Tennesee that taught her just that, and she earned her PHD in hair as a Professional Helix Designer!
In October, 2009, Jutta opened up European Hair Designer, located at The Vines Shopping Center, 701 JC Center Court, Unit 10. Jutta specializes in the Helix technique. The Helix cut is done with an original shear that is curved and torqued to create a c-shape or a conical shape, changing its structure permanently. This exclusive cut produces curls into the hair without chemicals, whether the hair is long or short! Some people get curls and some people get waves, but everyone gets body & volume. it is really great for people with baby fine hair! Jutta is the only Helix P.H.D graduate on the west coast of Florida! She uses techniques that no one else in the area uses!
Jutta also specializes in botanical hair color, Balayaga highlights, foils, and razor cuts!
